In April 2013 we thought that Elder Jayden Edgel would get his call in the mail so we were planning on having him read it at his court on honor but it didn't come. So we checked the mail every day & finally on the Fri after his court of honor, Rachel, our daughter in law came in & said she saw the mailman putting a large white envelope in our mailbox. So Jayden ran out & sure enough it was here. We asked him to wait to open it at least a half hour to text a few of our friends n family & have them come watch him open it. The house was full, thanks to devoted ward family for coming on such short notice, he was taking some deep breaths & then started reading those sacred, life changing words...."You are hereby called to ... labor in the Colorado Denver South Mission." "You should report to the Provo MTC on July 31, 2013." Yeah for Colorado, Yeah for Elder Edgel! Not only is it nice to know the details but more importantly it is nice to know it is a call from pure inspiration. Jayden felt so good about all the details. He is so excited. He is so prepared. We are all so happy for him & this life changing adventure.
